Our classic Chardonnay is represented here and combines fruit from Celilo, Conner Lee, and our own estate vineyard. We barrel-ferment in tight-grained, French oak barrels aiming for a wood influence that is integrated and never the focus. A more neutral approach to malolactic fermentation results in a wine with a subtle richness to the mouth and a delicate prettiness to the nose. Clean, fresh aromas of honeysuckle, white peach, lemon, and ginger root define the nose, while silky lemon, browned butter with a touch of kumquat rind, and lemon meringue mingle on the palate. Nice acidity is the final component to the balance.
